CurrentMarketing, Louisville's leading interactive marketing and advertising agency, will resurrect its tacky Christmas sweater blog series for the 2009 holiday season. Following on the wild success of the 2008 blog series, this year's entries promise to bring even more scrumptious and charming trinkets of visual provocation.
"We have no idea what sort of funny business we're gonna pull this year. I mean, seriously, did you see last year's sweaters? Goodwill will never be the same," said President, Rick Schardein.
Stay tuned - the sweater movement commences on December 1st!

I don’t think The Bouv can top his sweater from last year. It was pretty magnificent.

Wow, that sounds incredibly boring!

And yet zz, you read it and replied and everything! So, thanks! You really told us. I don’t know what we’re going to do now that you think we’re boring.
Merry Christmas, random anonymous internet jerk!

Hi ZZ!
Thank you so much for following our blog so closely. It’s really flattering that you feel so passionate about our topics – I recall your last post in response to our blog about Kentucky Derby Festival being just as acidic as this one.
The great thing is that here are CurrentMarketing, we appreciate those who challenge our ideas and keep us on our toes, particularly when it comes to matters of self awareness.
To that end, I’m supremely happy that you have provided us some perspective on just how boring we are.
Just one quick question, though – if we’re so boring, WHY DO YOU KEEP READING OUR BLOG?!?
Thanks again,
Katy Miller

Because if I didn’t read it, your readership would be essentially zero and your boss would shut you down because of the few hits you get. I accept cash or check.
Also, Louisvillians need to be reminded that they’re only about a half step behind Detroit on the scale of rust-belt mediocrity.

Hi ZZ,
I’d like to offer three ideas to you:
1. Give us a list of topics you want to see covered in our blog. We’ll write about them!
2. Write a few blog entries for us! We always welcome guest bloggers and I’d love to get your perspective on whatever you’d like to write about.
3. Send me the URL for your blog. If you’re not all that interested in blogging about marketing, I’d love to see what you are interested – you never know, maybe it would spawn us to get better at blogging.
I promise – none of this is facetious. I really do want your input!
Thanks,
Katy Miller
