Sites we love, Part 4
Lindsay Trombatore, half Italian Stallion and half Tower of Power, graces us with Part 4 of our series. Lindsay recently publicly disclosed what she calls her “Italian religion,” which we think involves some sort of shrine to Lucky Luciano she has hidden in the media office somewhere.
Her site of choice:
The Art of Non-Conformity
The writer responsible is Chris Guillebeau. I LOVE this site and read his articles every day. He writes about unconventional ways to live your life through work, travel, and self-exploration. At CurrentMarketing, we have a work environment that allows for unconventional ideas and this kind of exploration.
He also offers insight into social media, with recent articles like “Business Blogging and Broken Windows,” “How to Conduct an Online Survey” and “Product Launch 101.” For someone like me, who is still exploring social media styles, he provides good insight into making anything you do extraordinary–including advertising! Very intelligent, very passionate about life and loving the work you do! I would love to sit down over a cup of Joe and pick his brain. I’m sure he’s got some killer stories too.
With fists like sledgehammers, Katy Miller was ousted from the Russian Mafia for excessive brutality. It's also been rumored that she shot JR. Needless to say, few people cross this "Media Darling" and live to tell about it. And never - EVER - say anything bad about her beloved Wildcats. Katy spends her spare time reading the latest installment from Mary Worth, and she's a self-professed television aficionado. Chances are, if it's been on the tube, she's seen it. So go ahead. Test her. We dare you.
Thanks, Lindsay! I appreciate the props. I’ll look forward to the coffee meeting.
All best,
