Sheared Like Sheep.

She grabbed me. Then I heard it. The buzz.
I freaked. What is she doing to me???
This wasn’t a brush she was running through my coat.
Oh my, I’m all over the floor.
And suddenly I feel a cool breeze on my side.
Now I feel it on top.
This is weird.
My hair is all over the floor but I’m not bleeding.
It doesn’t even hurt.
In fact I feel lighter. Cooler.
I just can’t figure out what she is doing.
She says I look “pretty.”
She’s sweeping all of it away.
Keeps talking about making a sweater.
Who needs a sweater in this weather?
About the Author: Mona Koier

It’s no coincidence that Mona and Lisa are together. Although she may not yet know where she got her name, she hears it enough, usually in the form of “Mona! Stop that!” She’s a Golden Doodle (a cross between a black standard poodle and a golden retriever) that likes to shake hands with everyone who visits, keep crumbs off the floor, and chew on her numerous toys that lie around the office. Other employees are still trying to figure out her secret to sleeping through the workday while also finding time to get her work done.
